In 1962, Jacques Janssen followed his heart: starting his own business to repair agricultural machinery. He was a welder and an absolute professional, but also a man full of ideas who was always thinking up something new.
The product range grew – from oil tanks to containers, tippers and all kinds of specials.

At the same time, the number of Mr Janssen’s colleagues grew. Today, our metal workshop has more than 180 employees, and our entire company no less than 260. But at its core, AJK has always remained the same: family, skilled, pioneering.
Today, Gunter Janssen is at the helm. Under his leadership, we continue to evolve and innovate, because the demands of the market lead us to new solutions. And we continue to make our mark on an international market with a philosophy of craftsmanship, customisation and local know-how.
From request
to creation
It was founder Jacques Janssen who established himself in 1962 in Achel as a repairer of agricultural vehicles. Later he started with the production of fuel oil tanks. In the early seventies he decided to also build large waste containers. And so the company gradually grew. Today AJK has 220 employees.
Thanks to our investment in a fully automatic sandblaster, unique in its kind, and the great flexibility that we offer as a manufacturer, the possibilities are very extensive.
A proposal is always customized and monitored. For this purpose, there is within AJK an experienced team at your disposal, from the start of the sales process to the engineering and production and (mobile) service.
We strive daily for the highest quality and improvement in our production.
Modern manufacturing
A fully automatic laser cutting machine ensures a fast and precise preparation process. This allows us to guarantee quality and time savings. Our sandblaster cleans all products and removes rust.
This is also how we get the best results from our paint finish. This all enables steel plates that come in, to go out the door as AJK products that are ready for use!

Thanks to the CE certificates, EN- and NEN-approvals, AJK can offer you a permanent quality. We work every day to maintain this level and to further develop our production processes.
